Clark County Approves Google Application to Build $600 Million Data Center in Henderson


Clark County just approved a recent application submitted by Design LLC, a subsidiary of Google, to build a $600 million data center in Henderson near Warm Springs Road and Boulder Highway.

According to the application submitted by the company, Design LLC. will build up and own the property while Google will operate and employ workers.

This new center will also bring more jobs to the area. Roughly 50 permanent positions will be inside, and more than 3,000 temporary construction jobs to build the facility.

According to Design LLC, the data center is also expected to bring in an estimated 94 million dollars in tax revenue over the next twenty years and will likely open its doors in 2020.
