LAS VEGAS (July 30, 2019) — Last summer, Oasis Biotech, one of the nation’s largest indoor hydroponic vertical farming facilities of its kind, took root in Las Vegas and began producing some of the freshest, most food-safe and environmentally sustainable crops in the western United States. Today, the company announced that Evercress, its consumer-facing produce brand, is now available for public purchase.

During its Grand Opening in 2018, Oasis Biotech invited the public to its 215,000-square-foot facility to get a first-hand look at how the company is using its state-of-the-art technology and precision growing methods to redefine the meaning of fresh produce.

Guests had the opportunity to sample food and beverages that incorporated the farm’s crops but couldn’t purchase any after the event unless they were in a high-end restaurant, until now.

“Over the last year, we have been working hard to perfect our crops and growing methods to bring the community and our customers the freshest salad greens in Las Vegas,” says Michelle Howell, Sales & Marketing Manager at Oasis Biotech. “We had over 1,000 people attend last year’s grand opening and the big question everyone asked us was “When can we buy it?” so we are thrilled to now offer the Evercress salad greens to Las Vegas locals.”

According to Howell, the baby leaf Spring Mix and Romaine Mix blends can be purchased in eight-ounce bags, from 8 a.m. to 5p.m. Monday through Friday at Oasis Biotech’s farming facility located at 6225 Annie Oakley Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89120.

In an effort to stay true to its mission to “Feed the World, Better.,” any product not sold to current customers or purchased by the public will be donated to local charities.
