Officials from Las Vegas Events and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) joined city leaders and Fireworks by Grucci last week at the Great Hall at Fashion Show Mall to announce the details for what’s being called “America’s Party,” which will be the largest New Years Eve firework show in the nation.

The properties launching fireworks along the Las Vegas Strip include (from south to north) MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island (TI), The Venetian, and the Stratosphere.

But, before the celebration, a lot of work is taking place to make it possible for 80,000 fireworks to ignite from seven different resort rooftops. Check out the setup for this year’s show below.

According to a report by KSNV Channel 3, the firework company says 65 pyrotechnicians have worked more than 3,100 hours to make this 8-minute show possible.
