The population numbers are about to spike in Las Vegas as the annual flood of New Years Eve party-goers comes to a climax December 31.
According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, an estimated 318,000 visitors are expected to ring in 2019 this year while spending an estimated $240 million. The total economic impact on the local economy this year is expected to reach $403 million
The increase in visitors will-reportedly translate into more hotel rooms being occupied, according to the LVCVA, as 97 percent of the total rooms available will be reserved through the New Year’s holiday.
That’s a lot of freaking rooms. But it’s not surprising considering the nation’s largest NYE firework show will happen in Vegas this year.
